Hazrat Ali (R.A): His Blessed Childhood
Born inside the sacred walls of the Kaaba
in Mecca in 600 CE, Hazrat Ali (R.A) had a miraculous beginning. His parents,
Abu Talib and Fatima bint Asad, were highly respected figures in Quraish
society. Raised under the direct guardianship of Muhammad (PBUH), Hazrat
Ali (R.A) absorbed the Prophet’s wisdom and kindness from an early age.
From
childhood, Hazrat Ali (R.A) displayed qualities of unmatched bravery and
profound intelligence. He was among the first youth to embrace Islam,
demonstrating unwavering loyalty to Allah and His Messenger. At the age
of 10, he publicly declared his faith when many feared persecution.

On the 19th of Ramadan in 661 CE, while
leading the Fajr prayer at the mosque of Kufa, Hazrat Ali (R.A) was fatally
wounded by the assassin Ibn Muljam. He succumbed to his wounds two days later,
returning to his beloved Allah.
His martyrdom marked the end of an era but
also the beginning of an immortal legacy. His last words were a profound
testament of his faith:
"By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have succeeded!"
